Don't Know Where to Start! What is stopping you from writing your book? Most of the time, hesitation comes from not knowing where to start. This is where I come in. I am Jess Kennedy Williams, author of Heartbreak-Free Dating. Not long ago, I was exactly where you are now. I wanted to write a book. I kept telling people (for years) that I was going to write a book and I could hear them laugh at me (I thought it was them laughing at me, it was actually me, laughing at myself). Who was I to think I could write a book? I was not good in English class, I did not know anyone who wrote a book, and I did not know where to start. Does this sound familiar to you? I finally did start writing my book and I thought about how silly I was to think that I could write a book. But I kept at it and the pieces finally started to fall into place. I got the information I needed after long hours of research and trial and error. I found that there was a lot of information on how to write a book out there, but I had to find it piece by piece. It was frustrating and time consuming and I found much of the information to be technical and a bit overwhelming. That's why I created the Book Writing System. It's the resource I wish I had.
